Amy Evans

Amy Dawn Evans, 49, of Cleveland Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Harlan County on June 10, 1969, a daughter of Lunelle Lewis Morris and the late Victor Morris.
Amy was a graduate of Cumberland High School (1987) and received her Bachelor of Science from Cumberland College (now the University of the Cumberlands, 1992). Amy was a standout athlete, playing basketball in high school and college. She was an ICU Nurse at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. Amy accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, as her savior, while in high school.
Amy married her husband, Christopher Brad Evans, in 1996 and together they raised two of her most precious gifts, sons, Brody Chase Evans and Bryce Parker Evans of Cleveland Ohio. Amy is survived by other loving family members: mother Lunelle Morris of Corbin; mother-in-law Nancy Evans of Naples, Florida; brothers Richie Morris of Williamsburg, Lewis (Patti) Morris of Pineville, and Daniel (Tammy) Morris of Florence, Alabama; niece Maci Morris; nephew Victor Morris and a host of special uncles, aunts and cousins.
A memorial for family, to celebrating her beautiful soul, will take place on Aug. 18 in Cleveland Ohio.
