Curtis Stidham, 84, passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018.
Born Sept. 2, 1933, in Smilax, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Dewey Stidham, Sr., and Minnie Stidham.
A life-long resident of Laurel County, he was a member of the Keavy Church of Christ. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Russell Stidham.
He leaves behind his loving family including 11 siblings: Bernice Thomas, Ercel Eaton, Don Stidham and wife Betty, Agnes Witt, Nancy Gill, Dewey Stidham, Jr., and wife Pat, David Stidham and wife Peg, Caryl Partin and husband Jim, Paul Stidham and wife Sharon, Sandra Stidham, and Glenda Stidham; granddaughter, Heather Tabata and husband Mark; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Stidham.
He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Matney and Bro. Bill Browning officiating. Burial will follow in the Stidham Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master St. in Corbin.
