Donna Lynn Bowling Weaver, age 53, of the Pleasant View Community, Williamsburg Kentucky departed this life on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born on March 15, 1964 in Plattsburg, New York. She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Bowling; her daughter, Jessica Cox Corn; her grandmother, Euna Leach and father-in-law, Melvin Weaver. Donna graduated from Whitley County High School in 1982 and attended the University of the Cumberlands. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Donna loved to play Bunco with her friends. She will be missed by many cousins and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Daryle Weaver of Williamsburg; mother, Lorene Bowling of Pleasant View; sister, Rhonda Bowling of Pleasant View; granddaughter, Celestia Cox of Daleville, Alabama; mother-in-law, Jane Weaver of Jellico, Tennessee; special aunt, Lucille Smith of Pleasant View; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Floyd, Seth Stoffle and Randall Partin officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Moses Addition of Pleasant View Cemetery. Charlie Smith, Ken Smith, Gary Dugger Jr., Kenny Joe Smith, Jordan Kellogg and Roger Buhl will serve as pallbearers.
