Frances Williams, age 72, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 3,2017, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
She was born in Corbin, was a retired employee of over 27 years from American Greetings, and was a member of South Park Baptist Church in Corbin.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Farmer and Mary Yates Farmer; sisters, Annamae Bennett and Cannavae Curtis; and by her brothers, George, Homer, and Bill Farmer.
She is survived by her husband, Bert Williams; son, Gerald Williams and wife Jennifer; granddaughters, Brittany and Caitlyn Williams; brother, Rossie Farmer and wife Frances; and by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at South Park Baptist Church in Corbin with the Rev. Steve Cole officiating.
Entombment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetry in Keavy.
Visitation will be on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at South Park Baptist Church in Corbin.
