Freda Jenneva Cox Wilson, 67, of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina and formerly of Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 in North Wilkesboro.
She was born Oct. 14, 1948 in Williamsburg to the late Clarence Cox and Rebecca (Heaton) Cox. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leon Cox; a grandson, Devon Myles Neal; and a niece, Jillian Cox.
She is survived by her five children, Lisa Elliott (Ryan), of Saginaw, Michigan, Leona Sanders, of North Wilkesboro, Diane Thiessen, of New Britain, Connecticut, Rebecca Zapata, of Rock Shell, Iowa and Jackie Rogers (Vicki), of Millers Creek, North Carolina; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Eddie Cox (Bobbie), David Cox (Ann), Doug Cox (Karen) and Glenn Cox, all of Tampa, Florida; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Heaton officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Shupe Cemetery in Rockholds.
