Mr. Michael Keith Chambers, 28, of Corbin, passed away Monday morning, March 6, 2017, at his home. He was a son of Mike and Karen Hartman Chambers born on June 3, 1988, in Kenton County.
At the time of his death, he was a truck driver and enjoyed riding motorcycles, sports, spending time with his family, fishing and playing video games.
On Dec. 26, 2009, he united in marriage with Anita Saylor.
Survivors include his loving wife, Anita Chambers, of Corbin; parents, Karen Hollin, of Corbin, and Mike Chambers and wife, Tonja, of Lily; two children, Kailee Saylor and Jace Saylor both, of Corbin; a sister, Latoy Kiser, of Corbin; three brothers, Kenzie Chambers, of Norwood, Ohio, Lelen Chambers, of Lily, and James Lee, of Woodbine; grandmother, Della Hartman, of Corbin; special nieces, Kiara Kiser, Hailey Rego and Kaylee Mills, all of Corbin; a special nephew, Trenton Mills, of Corbin; a special friend, Casey Devenger, of Corbin; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home in Barbourville Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Hutton officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Brafford Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be James Lee, Jace Saylor, Andrew Brown, Eric Shelton, Joey Johnson, Eric Ison, John Collins and Brian Hutton. Honorary bearers will be Mike Chambers and Vincent Danaher.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from noon until the funeral hour.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
