Nannie Ethel Litteral, age 94, of Litteral Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center. She was born on Dec. 26, 1921, in Whitley County, to the late Henry Grant Meadors and Carrie Melissa (Rains) Meadors.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, William Lee Karr and William Glenn Litteral; son-in-law, M.T. Jones Jr. and a grandson, Bryan Glenn Litteral.
Nannie was a member of Saxton Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Litteral Jones of Williamsburg; two sons, Doyle Keith Karr (Gwen) of Piqua, Ohio and Glenn Woodrow Litteral of Williamsburg; two grandchildren, Derrick Keith Litteral (Tracy) and Travis Ray Litteral all of Lily; seven great-grandchildren, Emily Litteral, Gracie Litteral, Jacob Litteral, Blake Ryan Litteral, Isaiah Litteral, Gavin Litteral and Sadie Litteral, all of Lily; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will after 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Carpenter and the Rev. Mike Gray officiating. She will be laid to rest in the New Zion Church Cemetery.
