Ray D. Croley, age 79, of the Savoy community, Williamsburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017, at his home.
He was born November 1, 1938, in Whitley County, Kentucky, to the late William A. Croley Sr. and Ida Bennett Croley.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by nine brothers and two sisters.
He was owner and operator of the Shell Service Station in the Savoy community. He was a member of Calvary Masonic Lodge in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wilma Taylor Croley; one daughter, Carla Elam (David) of Austin, Texas; one son, Michael R. Croley of Williamsburg; four grandchildren Nash Croley, Taylor Rawlings, Rebecca Rawlings and Grace Rawlings; great grandson, Parker Ray Croley; two sisters, Galena Coffey (Kermit) of Williamsburg and Faye Eaton (Jim) of Mason, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Bruce Patrick and the Rev. Lester Cox officiating. Interment will be in the Ida Bennett Croley Cemetery.
Visitation will be noon Sunday until funeral hour at the funeral home.
