Reva Mattingly, age 88, of Corbin, departed this life on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at Baptist Health Corbin.
The daughter of the late Goebel and Ina (Midkiff) Ralph, Reva was born Nov, 12, 1929 in Adaburg.
Reva was a beautician and of the Baptist faith, a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church of Corbin, and a former member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Fordsville, Kentucky.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Herschel Mattingly, son-in-law: Stanley Maloney, grandson-in-law: Charles "Chuck" Woodlee, Brothers: Carl and Winston Ralph and a sister Armilda Calloway.
Reva is survived by one daughter: Rachel Maloney; two grandaughters: Missy Woodlee and Renea Powers and husband David all of Corbin; five great-grandchildren: Austin, Tanner and Natalee Powers, Taylor Moody-Kai and husband Marc and Olivia Moody.
Reva also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon Morris officiating. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the Adaburg Cemetery in Adaburg.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at 2 p.m. also at the Oak Grove Baptist Chruch.
