Roscoe Jones, 61, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville.
Born in Whitley County, he was the son of the late Dishman and Mary Jane Collinsworth Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Molly Jones, and brothers Harry and James Jones.
Roscoe is survived by his wife Mayme Jones; daughter Angie Gregory (Jamie) of Girdler; two step-children Ruth Ann Murphy of London and Charles Eaton of Corbin; nine grandchildren; brothers Freddie Jones (Barbara) and Moses Jones all of Corbin; sisters Laura Couch (Earl) of Corbin and Hazel Boscanoe of London; and sisters-in-law Etta Allen and Rosalie Croley (Shaun), all who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Deliverance Church on Gordon Hill in Corbin with Rev. Kenny Saylor officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Friday at Deliverance Church.
