Della Jeanette Sharp, age 66, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on April 18, 1950 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late William Henry and Ruby Mae (Reeder) Crider. Della enjoyed working as an interior designer, amongst other things, like crafts, gardening, and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Sharp, whom she married on Jan. 29, 1969; two daughters, Amy (Neal) Wire, Jamie (Shawn) Twohig; three grandchildren, Katelyn, Cameron, and Liam; two sisters, Ellen Griffith, Ruth Fortune; a brother, Melvin Crider; lifelong friends, Richard and Bonnie Colley; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother in law, J.B. and Geretta Sharp; and two infant daughters.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Visitation will also be at Croley Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Kentucky on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Pleasant View.
