Donna J. Coffey Bass, age 60, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at U.K. Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Rev. William Kelcie Coffey & Gloria Edna (Rogers) Coffey, born to them on Sept. 11, 1956, in Covington. She believed in the holiness faith and was a homemaker.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Coffey and Rondal Coffey; one sister, Barbara Coffey Barton; and one foster brother, Duane Sykes.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Brandi Davis and fiancée Bill Fox, and Marissa Saylor and husband Randy, both of Corbin; two sisters, Wanda Coffey Russell and Linda Coffey Kinney, both of Corbin; one brother, Gene Coffey and wife Rose, of Florence; one foster sister, Sherri Chenot, of Alexandria; two foster brothers, Jeff Sykes and Robby Beach, both of Corbin; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Donna's friends were her life as were her family. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Stansbery Family Cemetery in Corbin with family &and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at noon at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.
O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
