Felicia Gail Bowling Hampton, 56, of Corbin, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017, at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born on March 20, 1961, in Dayton, Ohio.
She is survived by her loving husband, Darrell Lynn Hampton, and her Christmas angel daughter, Heather Noel Hampton, both of Corbin; parents, Wanda Deaton and C.T. Bowling and wife, Joyce; sister, Katrina Lynn Bowling; stepsister, Kelly Hill and family; special nephews, Trevor and Billy; special aunts, Virginia Bowling Marcum, Beatrice Khoury and Dawn Roy; uncles, Brady, Barry, Donnie, Ronnie, Kenneth, Terry and Billy Deaton and their spouses. She is also survived by her in-laws, Mary Rose, Dave, Calvin, Robert, James, Raymond, Morris, Darlene and Cathy and their spouses, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
She was loved and will be missed by all. She was the first granddaughter of the late Arnold and Hettie Deaton, the granddaughter of the late Eliza Lipps Bowling and the daughter-in-law of the late Taylor and Anna Lee Hampton.
She was a 1979 graduate of Laurel County High School and a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Felicia and Darrell were married on May 25, 1985, at Hopewell Baptist Church by Hershel Walker, his first wedding as a licensed minister.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin with Dennis McCoy and Hershel Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the McDaniel Cemetery at London. Pallbearers will be nephews Trevor, Billy, Michael, Glenn, Daniel, Dustin and Doug.
