Geneva Knuckles, age 78, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, in Chicago.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1939, in Helton, to the late Fred Napier and Mary Ellen Napier.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her children, Deborah Klabacha, Earl Dean Knuckles, and Wendy Hintsala.
Geneva loved to make people feel welcome in her home by cooking and showing off her handmade decorations. She was known to many as just Grandma and later Nana.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Knuckles; grandchildren, Jason and Renata Klabach; great-grandchildren; Marisa and Rhys Klabacha; siblings; Tina Grimaldi, Mike Komac, Ralph Napier, Kathy Napier, Daryl Napier, Charles Napier, and Randall Napier.
Funeral services for Geneva Knuckles will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wilton Cemetery in Knox County.
