Jimmy Wayne Cornett 46, of Deltona, Florida, formerly of Keavy, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at his home in Florida. Jimmy was born Dec. 5, 1970, in Hyden, to Wayne and Madelon (Graven) Cornett.
He worked in construction and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Cornett, of Deltona, Florida; father and mother, Wayne and Midge Madelon Cornett, of London; daughter, Hillary Juayne Cornett, of Gray; three stepchildren, Justin, Ryan and Courtney Trezise, all of Deltona, Florida; three sisters, Cindy Dutschke and husband Jeremy, of Gustin, Lisa Boggs and husband Greg, and Becky Prine and husband Teddie, all of London; one brother, James Russell and wife Shelly Cornett, of Gray; four nephews, Brody Cornett, Austin Hale, Dustin Woods, and Allen Woods; three nieces, Alyssa Prine, Savannah Garland, and Piper Prine; and three grandchildren, Owen William Trezise, Trenton Todd Moore and McKenna Baker, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Miller and the Rev. Rick Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, with James R. Cornett, Teddie Prine, Jeremy Dutschke, Greg Boggs, Brody Cornett, and Austin Hale serving as pallbears.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017, at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home.
O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
