Mark Steven Walker, age 50, of Highway 895, Williamsburg, departed this life on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at his home. He was born on Sept. 5, 1966, in Somerset.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pleas and Elva Walker, Slaney and Charlena Fields and Ross and Opal Brooks; and a nephew, Jimmy Lee Ashby.
Mark was dedicated to his wife, son and daughter. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Mark was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed UK Athletics.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Fields Walker, of Williamsburg; son, Jonross Slaney Walker, of Williamsburg; daughters, Sara McKenzie Walker, of Williamsburg, and Bethann Moses, of Williamsburg; his father, John Henry Walker, of Williamsburg; brother, Gerald Wayne Walker (Alda), of Williamsburg; niece, Rachelle Walker Lee, of Williamsburg; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerome Cox, the Rev. Robbie Powers and the Honorable Paul K. Croley officiating.
