Rodger Dale Hale, 51, of Rockholds, departed this life on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Barbourville.
He was born Dec. 14, 1965 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late William James Hale and Marie (Crabtree) Hale. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, James Hardie Hale, and his grandfather, Milford Crabtree. Rodger was a member of the Teamsters Union in Lafayette, Indiana.
He is survived by his son, Justin Lee Hale, of Williamsburg; stepdaughters, Ariel Dawn Darnell, of Williamsburg and Victoria Alice Darnell, of Rockholds; two grandsons, Ethan Scott Partin and Damon Alexender Herndon, of Williamsburg; his mother, Marie Crabtree Hale, of Rockholds; a brother, William Lee Hale, of Rockholds; his grandmother, Zella Crabtree, of Rockholds; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will after 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016 at the Croley Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Matney and the Rev. Jim Roark officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Crabtree Cemetery on Bear Hollow Road, Rockholds.
