Wanda Gay Bunch, age 85, of B & G Road, Williamsburg, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center, Williamsburg. She was born on Oct. 29, 1930, in Hazard, to Harvey Rymer and Elizabeth (Grimes) Rymer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Elizabeth Rymer; and husband, Leroy Bunch.
She was a member of Wofford Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Bobby Bunch (wife Carlas), of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Lisa Miller (husband Jim), of Williamsburg, Kristy Rhodes (husband Rev. Paul), and Aron Bunch (Jamie), of Corbin; eight great-grandchildren, Sara Miller, Rebecca Miller, Roy Joe Rhodes, Megan Jo Rhodes, Macy Ann Bunch, Morgan Stacy, Dylan Stacy and Levi Aron Bunch; niece, Donna Smith, of Wofford Community; nephew, Michael Rymer, of Dayton, Ohio; and host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joshua Bowman, the Rev. Paul Rhodes, and the Rev. Bobby Bunch officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Davis Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
