Wanda Faye Manes, age 68, of Highway 92 East, Siler, departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on March 6, 1948 in Whitley County, to the late Eli Rhodes and Eva (Peace) Rhodes.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Manes and a brother, Marshall Rhodes.
She is survived by two daughters, Teddie Lynn Silcox and Jill Ann Rhoades (John), of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Breanna Chute,Tyler Silcox, Jacob Rhoades and Whitney Silcox; great grandson, Hunter Chute; two sisters, Phyllis Spivey, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Shirley Manes (Tommy), of Williamsburg; four brothers, Glennis Rhodes (Barbara), of Barbourville, and Ken Rhodes (Mary), Bill Rhodes (Peggy) and David Rhodes (Charlene), all of Siler; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Rhodes and the Rev. Bill Meadors officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Rhodes Cemetery in Siler.
