William Michael Sewell, 71, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at UK Health Care of Lexington.
He was the son of the late John and Vivian (Lee) Sewell, born to them on Feb. 27, 1945, in Bell County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, an Army veteran, and was a Supervisor/Director at Cumberland River Comprehensive Care.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Marcus Sewell, and Johnny Sewell and a brother-in-law Larry Baker.
Survivors include his wife Teena Sewell of Corbin, two children: Melissa Jayne Sewell of Corbin, and Ryan Trevor Sewell and wife Vanessa of Scottsville. Two sisters: Barbara Baker of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Elizabeth Couch and husband Joseph of Lexington. Five grandchildren: Colby Gray Sewell, Meredith Adeison Sewell, Natillie Elizabeth Sewell, Beau Campbell Sewell, and William Lucus Perrigan, plus many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Austin Carty and Rev. Sam Grisby officiating.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry of Corbin, KY.
O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
