Corbin - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda Perkins on December 10, 2025. Born on September 27, 1938, Amanda lived a life that was filled with spirit and love. She was a resident of Corbin, Kentucky, and was widely known and respected in her community. Amanda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a dedicated store manager at Perkins grocery store until her retirement. Amanda's zest for life was evident in her spirited approach to her hobbies. She was an excellent cook and a skilled knitter, and she often used these talents to bring joy to those around her.

What mattered most to Amanda was her family. She was survived by her sons, Dewayne Perkins and George Perkins; grandchildren, Derek Perkins, Niki White, and Natasha Dugger; and great-grandchildren, Raegan White, Landen White, and Roselyn Bixby. Amanda was also survived by her siblings, Donald Brooks, Harold (Betty)Brooks, Naomi Keeton, and Ruby Snoderly along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends who will mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Arnie Brooks; her husband, Junior Ben (JB) Perkins; and her brother, Ronald Brooks.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11 am at Croley Funeral Home, located at 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky, 40769. The funeral service will follow at the same venue at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at 2:30 pm at Croley Addition Highland Park Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky, 40769.
