Anna Marie Humfleet, age 72 of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family.

Born on December 25, 1952, in Corbin, Kentucky, Anna was bold, strong, intelligent, creative, kind, and loving. These are all the words that we use to describe our Anna. Anna loved watching old movies and comedies. Some of her favorite pastimes included: taking all the family kids on hikes and picnics, and spending hours talking and laughing with family. She enjoyed her lunch dates with her coworkers. Anna loved her church family and her faith. It was her faith that kept her strong throughout her battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Clara and Lando Mitchell; Sisters, Sylvia Wilson, Shirley Wombles, Helen Mitchell, Judy Lowe, and Fran Cutrer; brothers, Preston, Kenneth, Billy, Danny, Doc Mitchell, and David Turner; brothers-in-law, Curt Wilson, Jimmy Wombles, Gerald Cornelius and Randy Fox; sister-in-law, Beverly Mitchell

Anna is survived by her loving husband, Joe Humfleet; son, Jake Humfleet; special nephews, Chris and Charlie Smallwood; stepdaughter, Kelly Bowling; stepson, Chris Humfleet; sisters, Deby Cornelius and Vicky Fox; sisters-in-law, Sandra, Peggy, and Diane Mitchell; brother-in-law, Ray Lowe. And a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends

Visitation for Anna Humfleet will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 12noon until the time of her funeral service at 2 pm, at Living Waters Pentecostal Church, Hwy 25E in Gray, Kentucky.

Burial will follow in the Landon Mitchell Cemetery, where her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
