Corbin, Kentucky - Brenda Joyce Lynam 75, born October 17, 1950, in Closplint, KY, a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on October 24, 2025. Brenda spent her life in service to others, as a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant at the Baptist Health - Corbin. Her love for her work was only surpassed by her love for her family and her passion for her hobbies, which included shopping, flower gardening, playing video games, and spending precious time with her loved ones.

Brenda is survived by her beloved husband of over 54 years, Ken Lynam Sr. of Corbin, KY; her children, Kenneth Jr. and wife Krysti of Atlanta, GA., Lisa Unger and husband Keith of Corbin, KY, and Shaun and wife Jennifer of Chicago, IL. She was a cherished grandmother to Colin Lynam, Brandon Lynam and wife Christin, Erin Lynam, Ryan Lynam, Gavin Lynam, Lainie Lynam and Zach Lynam, and a much-loved great-grandmother to Berkeley Lynam. She is also survived by her loving mother, Lorene Martin and her husband Paul of Corbin, KY.

She also leaves behind her sister, Katrina Kendrick Thompson; sister-in-law, Teresa Chadwell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends who will continue to honor her legacy. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Chadwell, and her brother, Steve Chadwell.

Visitation for Brenda will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 5:00 pm at the Croley Funeral Home, 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky, 40769. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rema Helton officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Maple Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky, 40769, on the same day at 3:00 pm.
