Linda Charlene Osborne Blair passed away peacefully at her home on September 18, 2024, and went to be with her Heavenly Father. She was 73 years old. A lifelong resident of Corbin, Kentucky, she was the daughter and only child of Charles Ray and Elizabeth Charles Osborne, both of whom predeceased her.
She is survived by Tom Blair, her husband of 52 years, a daughter, Lauren Blair Duckworth (David), and grandchildren, Charles, Blair, and Andrew, all of whom were blessed and enriched by her love and care.
Charlene was cherished by the many friends she made throughout her lifetime. Her beautiful smile could light up a room. She was a talented artist, who shared her talents generously with others. A member of the Corbin Presbyterian Church, she served there in many capacities over the years and was strong in her Christian faith.
Diagnosed with Alzheimer's almost 9 years ago, Charlene faced her illness with courage and was an inspiration to her family and the wonderful caregivers who became a part of that family.
In respect of her wishes, a private service was held for her family, with burial at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
Memorials in Charlene's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
