Corbin - Chester A. Dizney, age 90 of Corbin, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Baptist Health in Corbin, KY.

Born on November 21, 1934, Chester spent his years dedicated to his faith, family, and friends. A Christian, he was Baptist by faith and a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Chester was a proud retiree of CTA - Corbin, KY, where he served as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was known for his diligent work ethic and dedication to his role. Despite his commitment to his work, Chester's heart truly belonged to the serene lakes where he spent countless hours fishing - a hobby that provided him so much peace and joy. Chester and his late wife cherished their winters in Florida.

Chester is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lettie Dizney; parents, Homer and Rosie Dizney; and siblings, Roy Dizney, Perry Dizney, Homer Dizney, Louize Houze, and Violet Willis.

He is survived by children, Arnold Dizney (Nancy) and Sharon Petrey (Roy Smith); grandchildren, Josh Roaden (Amanda), William Dizney (Angie), Ben Dizney (Kirsten); great-grandchildren, Brailey Dizney, Brookz Dizney, Whitley Roaden, Camden Dizney, Eden Dizney & Reagan Dizney; sister, Ruth Brian.

Visitation for Chester will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 12-2 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin, KY. His funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Kevin Roach officiating.

Burial will take place at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, KY
