Corbin - Dorman Elliott, age 80, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at his home.

Born in Knox County, KY, he was the son of the late Foster and Cecil Elliott. His life was characterized by resilience, courage, dedication, and an unyielding love for his family, friends, and community.

Dorman's professional life spanned many years as a conductor with CSX Railroad. His resilient spirit and dedicated work ethic helped him forge a successful career in the railroad industry. Dorman carried his dedication into his hobbies. He was an avid basketball player and a passionate fan, especially of the University of Kentucky. He also found much comfort and joy in fishing, boating, and water skiing. These activities allowed him to stay connected with the natural beauty of Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his son, Brian Elliott; and his siblings Opal, Mildred, and Ledford.

Dorman is survived by his beloved wife Brenda; son Chris Elliott; and granddaughter Whitney Elliott.

A graveside service and burial took place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
