Eugene Ohler Vaughn, age 91, of London, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at the Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly in London.

He leaves behind two children, Donald Vaughn and wife Elaine, of Corbin, and Connie Bundy and husband Larry of London; one sister, Elgene Baker, of Loveland, Ohio; two grandchildren, Brian Vaughn, of Lexington, and Kyle Bundy of London; one great-grandchild, Dia Jade Bundy, of London; his church family, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Roxie Pearl Ohler Vaughn, the mother of his children, Wilma Jean Lanham Vaughn; his second wife, Nancy Vaughn; three siblings, David C. Vaughn, Wilma Boggs, Barbara King; one great-grandchild, Kyla Bree Bundy.

He retired after 25 years of service from the United States Post Office as a clerk, he was in the United States Army where he served in World War II and received a purple heart in the Korean War, a member of the Gideons International London Camp, and a founding member of Soul's Harbor Church in London.

Funeral services for Eugene Ohler Vaughn will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at 1 p.m. with Ronnie Ball and Brad Parrett officiating. The burial will be private at the Felts Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service also at the funeral home.
