Shelbyville - Grady F. Craig, Jr., 78, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 in Louisville.
Before his retirement he was a wire EDM programmer and operator for Spaulding and Day Tool & Die Company. After his retirement he had more time to spend playing golf, bowling and hunting. He enjoyed listening to country music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Muriel Shoemaker Craig and Grady F. Craig, Sr., his granddaughter, Emma Durham and his sister, Brenda Wheatley.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Whisman Craig; his daughter, Robin Graham (Carey); his granddaughter, Sarah Sipes (Austin), all of Shelbyville; his sister, Virginia Dale Adkins (Bob) of Corbin, his mother-in-law, Catherine Whisman of Shelbyville, his brother-in-law, Stephen Whisman of Louisville, several nieces and nephews and many very close friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
