London - Joyce Lovelace, age 86, of London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

She leaves behind three children, Leslie Lovelace Lawrence & husband David of Powell, OH, Robert Lovelace of London, KY, Jesse Lovelace & wife Laurel of Elizabethton, TN; one brother, Sam Reeder of Louisville, KY; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lovelace; and by her parents, Sam Barnett Reeder & Amy Wombles Reeder.

Joyce leaves behind a legacy of hard work, entrepreneurship, and deep love for her family. Her career in the jewelry business began at just 17 years old, and through her dedication she went on to become the original owner of Lovemore Jewelers and The Toy Shoppe in Corbin, Kentucky, where she built a trusted and respected name in the community.

She later expanded her business ventures, starting Lovelace Jewelers in London, Kentucky, as well as opening the Costume Shop on 4th Street in London. Each of these reflected her creativity, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Above all, Joyce loved her family and devoted her life to them. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend whose kindness and strength touched the lives of many. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family of Joyce Lovelace will receive friends who wish to pay respects on Thursday, September 25, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
