June Evelee Helton Alukonis, age 95, of London, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at her home.

She leaves behind eight siblings, Dorothy Elam of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shirley Bargo of Georgetown, Texas, Elisha Helton, Jr. of Cincinnati, Jerri Levey of Ft. Myers, Florida, Rose Ruttkay of Ormond Beach, Florida, Jewell Wagner of Phoenix, Arizona, Mary D. Arnett of London, Kentucky, John D. Helton of Cincinnati, plus a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Alukonis; her parents, Elisha and Agnes Belle Trent Helton; and two siblings, Wanda Davisson and Raymond Helton.

She is a native of Kentucky. She was a resident of Ft. Myers, Florida, for more than 60 years, and recently moved to London. She was a passionate lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

A memorial will be held at a later date in Ft. Myers. Burial will take place at a later date in the Brafford Cemetery.

The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
