Kenneth Setser Obituary
Kenneth Floyd Setser was born April 1, 1932 in Whitley County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Garrett Setser and Maud Roark Setser. He was united in marriage to Danna Lou West Setser who preceded him in death. He is survived by his three children, Teresa Bartlett of Lily, David Setser and wife Cheryl of Portsmouth, Virginia, and Kimberly Wright of Corbin, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Misti Bartlett and husband Rhys, Shelby Jaus and husband Robert, James Blue and wife Shvonne, Carol Ann Setser, Amanda Wright, and Rebecca Wright; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his four siblings, Junior Setser, John Setser, Myrtle Rees, and Luther Setser.
He was a retired veteran of the United States Army and a member of Lily Baptist Church.
Kenneth Floyd Setser departed this life Thursday, March 14, 2024 being 91 years, 11 months, and 13 days of age.
The funeral service for Kenneth Floyd Setser will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Lily Baptist Church in Lily with Alan Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. There will be a meal at Lily Baptist Church following the burial.
The family of Kenneth Floyd Setser will receive friends at Lily Baptist Church in Lily beginning 12 noon Friday until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.
