Corbin - Linda Kaye Taylor, born on the 9th of May, 1952 in Corbin, KY, was a woman of remarkable spirit and tenacity. She lived her life with a contagious energy, her laughter being a melody that resonated within the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.

As the owner and operator of Rains Cafe for over 30 years, she served up more than just great food; she served smiles, comfort, and a listening ear to all who walked through her doors. The same care and dedication she put into her cafe were also evident in her co-ownership of a local flower shop, where she worked to make every occasion beautiful.

Linda was a devoted mother to Jonah Cracium of Williamsburg, KY, Robin Robinson of Williamsburg, KY, Robert Taylor and wife Tammy of Williamsburg, KY, and Ashleigh Rose and husband Clifton of Williamsburg, KY.

She embraced the joys of grandmotherhood with Alyssa, Ethan, Plass, Devan, Kendra, Cierra, Tristan, Lydia, Laurel, and Juniper, and had the unique pleasure of knowing her great-grandchildren Brakenzie, Skylar, Taylor, Jaydon, Laci, Sawyer, Ayden, and her great-great-grandson Weston.

Linda's love and influence will live on through each of them. Linda's capacity to love and nurture extended beyond her immediate family, leaving an indelible mark on her several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing. She is preceded in death by her father RL Rains, mother Geneva Rains, brother Edward Rains, and niece Meretta Rains.

In her downtime, Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life - spending time with her family, playing cards, and enjoying her time on the lake. Her life was a testament to the fact that it is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy that makes happiness. The visitation will take place on Friday, 28 Nov 2025 at 6:00pm at Croley Funeral Home, 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky, 40769. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Saturday, 29 Nov 2025 at 11:00am with Rev. Gerald Mullins officating, followed by the burial at 12 pm at the Highland Park Davis Addition Cemetery.

Linda's life was a tapestry of love and resilience, woven with threads of courage, kindness, and an unwavering zest for life.
