Lucille Stearman Jackson, born November 7, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Alice Jordan and James Stearman, she took her last breath April 9, 2019, at home beside her loving husband Teddy R. Jackson of 54 years. She fought a long and hard battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Lucille owned and operated her own salon, Daisey Hill Beauty Shop, in Borden, Indiana, before being transferred with the railroad to London, Kentucky. There she managed a Payless Shoe store until retirement.
She has one living son, Michael R Jackson (Amy) of Corbin, one granddaughter, Rachel Logan Jackson of Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Marie Jackson Browning (Wade), mother, Alice, father, James, sister, Dorothy Stearman Finnie, brothers, James Stearman, John (Sonny) Eiseman, Larry (Buster) Dusel, with two living sisters, Louise Stearman Johnson and Helen Cundiff, one living brother Freddy Harmon, and a slew of nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
Her service will be held Saturday April 13, 2019 at Garr Funeral Home, located in Sellersburg, Indiana. Visitation will begin at noon with funeral starting at 3 p.m.
