Louisville, Kentucky - Marilyn "Sue" Hall, age 77, of Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Sue dedicated many years of faithful service as a switchboard operator at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky, where she was known for her professionalism and kindness.
In her personal life, Sue enjoyed spending time on the phone visiting with family and friends, watching Chrisley Knows Best, and savoring an ice-cold Pepsi. She will be remembered for her warm personality, quick wit, and the genuine love she shared with those around her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hall; her parents; her brothers, Glenn, Earl, Ray, and Richard; and her sisters, Edna, Faye, and Gerri.
Sue is survived by her sons, Brent, Douglas, and Harold (Amber); her grandchildren, Destiney (Jacob), Kaleb (McKenna), Trey, and Lynlee; a great-grandson on the way; her nieces, Sherry and Debbie; her sister, Ann; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Sue's legacy of love, compassion, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Visitation for Sue will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating.
Burial will be held at Felts Chapel Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. Following the committal service, the Hall Family invites those attending to join them for a meal at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
