Martha Jane Chadwell Craig, age 89, of Gray, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at Barbourville ARH
Martha was born on February 13, 1931, in Knox County, Ky., to the late Ed Chadwell and Ruby Barton Chadwell. She and her late husband, Robert Craig, were the owners and operators of the Krystal Kitchen in Corbin for many years, and was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church
She is survived by daughters, Barbara (Bryan) Elliott of Corbin, and Wanda Simons of Corbin,; grandchildren, Brandon Elliott of Corbin, Brooke Elliott of Corbin, Davie Smith of London, Brent Simons of Lexington, and Ashley Simons of Corbin; as well as a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Preston Craig; brothers, Grover, David, Jeff, A.O., and Joe; and sisters, Augusta, Goldie, Elizabeth, Mae, and Mildred.
There was a Graveside service held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Resthaven Cemetery in Corbin, Ky.
