Priscilla Weaver Obituary

Priscilla "Tilla" Weaver was born on March 4, 1930 in Corbin, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Jesse and Alice Taylor. She was united in marriage to Vernon Weaver on December 30, 1952.

She leaves to mourn her passing by her son, Roger Weaver and wife Linda of Lexington, Kentucky, granddaughter, Meghan Weaver of Greenville, South Carolina, brother and sister-in-law, Carman and Dolores Weaver of London, sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Johnson of London, and brother-in-law, M. B. Weaver of Dublin, CA and a host of loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Leona McDowell, Eva Smith, Rita Hale, Edna Elam, Janice Barnard, and brother Robert Taylor.

Tilla departed this life on Tuesday, February 12, 2020 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington leaving her at the age of 89 years 11 months, and 8 days.

Tilla was a member of the Weaver Missionary Baptist Church and a retired Regional Librarian in London having worked for the Kentucky Department of Libraries for 44 years.

Funeral services for Priscilla "Tilla" Weaver will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at noon. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Ronnie Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Old Salem Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2020 beginning at 10 a.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
