Russell Morris Obituary
Russell Morris, age 75, of Nicholasville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Brenda Kaye Hogg Morris; his son, William Michael Morris and Mary Ann of Lexington, KY; his sister, Kathleen Lockaby and Kindred, of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren, Rusty Morris and Catherine of Stanford, KY, Daniel Morris of London, KY and Kendal Morris of Lexington, KY; a great-granddaughter, Sara Smith, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Morris and Rhoda Cobb Morris; two children, Kelvin Wayne Morris and Susan Michelle Morris; three siblings, Eugene Morris, Johhny Morris, and Evelyn Morris Roark.
Russell was retired from Caron Spinning Company after 26 years where he worked as first shift supervisor. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, KY.
A graveside service for Russell Morris will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky with Bro. Michael Dixon officiating.
The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
