Vernon Dye Obituary

Mr. Vernon Lee Dye Jr., age 43, of Rockholds, was born in Hamilton, Ohio on Oct. 6, 1973, to Vernon Lee Dye Sr. and Emilee Baker Dye and departed this life on Dec. 25, 2016, in London. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, camping, laughing, playing games, four-wheeling, and time with his family.

His grandparents: Charles and Virgie Dye and Jess and Sudie Baker preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving parents: Vernon Lee Dye Sr. and Emilee Dye, of Rockholds; his loving companion: Barbara Fragosa, of London; a daughter: Whitney Dye and two sons: Cody Dye and Braiden Dye, all of Woodbine; a stepson: Nate Nantz, of London; a brother: Anthony Dye and wife Merylin and a sister: Nichole Dye-Love and husband John, all of Rockholds; three special nephews: Jonathan Love, Aaron Love, and Riley Love; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Vernon Lee Dye Jr. will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Corn Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jared Gullion and the Rev. Daniel Ledger officiating. Burial will follow in the McNeil Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Corn Creek Baptist Church Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to the funeral hour at 11.
